Seven faculty earn Millsaps business scholarships

Seven UMMC faculty have concluded the Millsaps College Business Advantage Program for Professionals.

UMMC faculty selected for the class include Dr. William Boteler, assistant professor of care planning and restorative sciences in the School of Dentistry; Dr. Richard Wells, assistant professor of medicine (pulmonology); Dr. Jasmine Hollinger, assistant professor of dermatology; Dr. Rebecca Sugg, associate professor of neurology; Dr. Tracy Dellinger, professor of care planning and restorative sciences in the School of Dentistry; Dr. Stephanie Elkins, professor of medicine (hematology); and Dr. Saeed Bajestani, associate professor of pathology.

The program is a certificate course taught by Millsaps College M.B.A. program professors designed to give working professionals comprehensive exposure to the most essential business topics.

The Office of Faculty Affairs and the Hearin Foundation Grant funds up to eight faculty scholarships annually.

Nominations from school deans and school of medicine chairs are requested each spring for the fall course, which typically takes place from August to December.
